Social worker Theda Coles and ace photographer, Hunter Davis (Brave Wolf)were high school and college sweethearts and planned to marry, but he broke it off and never explained. A tender romance with drama. This is the story of a rekindled romance between two individuals who were deeply in love as young adults, separated, married to others, separated from these partners by death and infidelity and ultimately reunited in the small town where they first met. Forces try to keep them apart, including the reappearance of an ex-wife and a vengeful neighbor. But the love that holds them together is so pure that it will make you smile. The writing is straightforward and the back story is interspersed throughout the narrative. It is a little confusing at times but I now understand that there was a book before this that would likely fill in the gaps in the story. Still the author does a decent job bringing the reader up to speed. I enjoyed the book simply because I liked the characters.Product details

This story is great for breakfast and lunch. I like the way you can get into the storyline with his family and friends
If something is meant to be it will be even though you may have an uphill battle to t to it. Enjoyed the book a lot.
This was the best book I've read by Ms Craft! The story was great and about your first true love and how you can never love anyone that way. It is a wonderful thing when you can find that loved one again and rekindle that love.
This is another great story from Francine Craft....if you've never read a book by this author then you must start with this ....if you already read a book from this author then I have nothing else to say, you already know this is a great read.
This book has so many ups & downs; twists & turns... and so worth reading! The love of the two main characters just seem to float off the pages. In the mist of all the love, stands two very conniving and bitter women.... but they were determined to never be without each other again. Loved it!
Theda and Hunter both had bad marriages. Hunter's wife who cheated on him decided she wanted him back and came back for her man. Theda and Hunter have other plans and in the end the best man wins his girl... A good story, short and sweet..
Theda was a very strong woman. I lke her friends could truly see what the author wanted us to see. Helena was a typical spoil brat to a totally selfish woman. She had no love for no one but herself. I was glad to see thaT motherhood can make the devil understand what a child means unconditional love. Davis at a early age put family before true love only to realize family was true love.
